free gift tag printable

printable blush gift tags
I've begun to wrap some Christmas gifts, and I'm in love with a blush pink palette for the holidays- rather than red and green. (And it's no secret that blush pink is one of my favorite colors!) I made some printable gift tags because I can never find the perfect ones in the store, and I'm sharing them with you! Check out the end of the post for the download link.

vegan toast recipes

vegan toast recipes
Breakfast is my favorite meal of the day- I go to bed looking forward to what I'm going to eat in the morning! Lately I've been having toast almost every morning, so I decided to share a few recipe ideas with you! These don't just have to be for breakfast, I would eat these for lunch or a mid-day snack too! Or make these for your next brunch party and I'm sure you'll have everyone instagramming their food. ;)

diy tea gift

diy tea giftAs the weather is getting colder, a hot cup of tea is my choice of drink. I love making little things for my friends so I put together this cute gift for autumn!  I found this glass vial at Michael's and added some dried tea leaves. I wrapped some string around the top and made a little tag and it became an adorable little present!

diy mini dreamcatcher

IMG_4988 as Smart Object-1
I love dreamcatchers- both for what they symbolize and because they are always so pretty! I found these mini embroidery hoops a long time ago at the craft store, and I've been saving them until I figured out what to do with them. They work perfectly for these dreamcatchers!

diy terrarium

terrarium diy
I love having plants in my room and I especially love terrariums because they're like a mini forest right on your desk! I recently made a new terrarium and I put together a DIY to show you how I did it! I think this would be a great gift to make someone for Christmas!

terrarium supplies
You'll need some sort of container, sand, and plants like moss and succulents. I found my glass box at Hobby Lobby, but you could also check out the thrift store or use a recycled glass bottle from your pantry!

3
Take your succulent out of its planter and gently remove most of the dirt from it's roots.

4
Place it in your container and surround it with sand.

5
Cover the sand with moss. And that's it!

6
I also planted another succulent and moss in a little teapot planter that I found at the thrift store.

7
I'm excited to add these to my plant collection! Succulents are one of my favorites because they're so easy to take care of, and they usually survive pretty well on their own. Happy planting!

DIY hamsa incense holder

diy hamsa incense holderMy favorite thing to do at night is grab a good book, light a few candles, and burn some incense. It's the perfect way to spend a cozy autumn evening. I came across this beautiful incense holder on Free People and my first thought was "I want that" and my second thought was "I can make that". So that's what I did- and I made a tutorial so you all can make one too!

online portfolio

I'm excited to announce something I've been working on for quite a while now- my new website dedicated to my artwork! It's an online portfolio of sorts, where I post my photography and design work- everything else I do besides what you see on my blog. I've been wanting to do photography professionally for a long time, and I've slowly been getting there by doing small shoots here and there. I also create both digital and print media, such logos, graphics, and posters. All of this will be showcased on my website!   jordaneclark.com

I would love if you check it out! ♥

stellaire notes

stellaire notes

I'm excited to announce a new project I am beginning- a monthly newsletter for all my readers!

I'm calling it "Stellaire Notes". Each month I will create a "note" to mail out, which may include easy DIY projects, mixtapes, advice or things I've learned, and perhaps some quotes I found inspiring. These notes will essentially be like a blog post, but exclusive content you won't find on my blog- delivered right to your inbox! If you'd like to start receiving these monthly Stellaire Notes, you can subscribe below or use the form in the side bar!

Be on the look out for the first Stellaire Note coming out next week.

As always, thank you all for your love and support. I'm so happy you read my blog!

planner pages

10
I've been slacking on keeping up with my planner, but I've started working in it again because it helps me stay so much more organized. I also use a little notebook to write lists and jot down random thoughts throughout the day. I feel like without these two things, my mind is a jumble of due dates and song lyrics and creative ideas, so it's nice to get it all out on paper.

What are your favorite craft supplies to decorate your pages? I love using gel pens and washi tape, but I want to find some new things to use. Let me know what you like!

planner decorating // a fresh start

planner decorating
Sometimes with no warning, life knocks you off your feet. And you're left to pick yourself up, brush off the dirt, and keep heading down your path.

I've been working on doing the things I love, to aid the process of picking myself back up. I've been sick in bed all week so that has given me an excuse to take a much needed break from work and do the things that really make me happy. Although I usually like to heal my body naturally, there comes a point where you just need a little extra help. So as my new stock of medicine the doctor gave me is helping heal my body, I am working on healing my spirit. I'm sorry I'm keeping this vague, just know I am healing.

The first step to a fresh start can be as simple as buying yourself a new planner. I found this one at Target, and was inspired by Abby's beautiful planner to start decorating my own.

crafting
I gathered together some of my favorite craft supplies and sat in bed while I started decorating my planner.

planner layout
I like the idea of treating my planner like a scrapbook that I can look back on and enjoy even after it's all filled up. I taped in the wrapper of a new tea I tried this week, included a note that my sweet cousin Jade gave me, and wrote in random thoughts from my days (since they weren't too eventful spent all day in bed).

planner note from jade planner layout
I started planning out next week, leaving some blank space so I can continue adding little pieces from my days.

planner planner
This planner is the perfect way to stay creative everyday, even if I don't have much time to craft. I'm excited to continue decorating it, and see what it turns into!

Wishing you all lots of peace and love

valentine's DIY // xoxo

v8
So tomorrow's Valentine's day. I love my friends, and I love making things for my friends, so I made them valentines.

v1
v2
The idea for these was super simple; it's just a mini envelope attached to a piece of kraft paper. I stamped out the words "happy valentine's day" and doodled hearts around the edges.

v3 v5
I put a small pack of candy in each envelope, but you could put whatever you want in them- maybe stickers or small photos or a love note?

v6
I really love how these turned out, and I can't wait to give them to my friends!

valentine's playlist
You might remember my Valentine's playlist of sickeningly sweet love songs from last year. This year I created a more refined collection of songs, much more subtle, but still very sweet.

Happy Valentine's Day xoxo

hello 2015. a memory jar

2015
2014 was a year full of adventures, new friends, opportunity, trying to figure things out, falling, getting back up again, inspiration, clarity, saying goodbye, and also saying hello.

memory jar
memory jars
A new year means a new memory jar. I made my memory jar last year with the intention to fill it up with good things that happened, so then I could look back onto the year and remember all the happiness. I want to continue the tradition this year- it is so important to take time to look back on all the good things that happened.

breathe deeply golden stars memories
I took my 2014 jar off my shelf and emptied out the notes. I sat down on my bed and smiled as I read through all of the things I wrote throughout the year. Some things mean nothing anymore, some things are just little- almost insignificant- moments, some are big events that happened, and others are things I just wanted to remember, for some reason or another. They all made 2014.
