My cousin, sister, and I spent today creating these memory jars. Remember the one I made last year? A new jar and a whole new year to fill it.
I decorated mine with kraft paper and washi tape, with a few golden stars and ombre pink paint at the bottom.
Jade
Jade wrapped hers with a kraft tag and embellished it with golden paint and stars.
She finished hers with a charming "2014" tag.
Allie created a pretty, bright floral jar and wrote 2014 in gold, swirly writing.
Allie
I love the colors and patterns she used.
The last touch to my jar was a tag tied with embroidery floss.
Happy 2014 everyone ♥
Make this a year full of adventures, magical moments, and glittering possibilities.
“may your coming year be filled with magic and dreams and good madness. i hope you read some fine books and kiss someone who thinks you’re wonderful, and don’t forget to make some art- write or draw or build or sing or live as only you can. and i hope, somewhere in the next year, you surprise yourself.”
