2018 bullet journal setup

This year I decided to dive into the world of bullet journaling, and I couldn't be more excited about it! I've used a traditional planner for the longest time, so I'm really looking forward to the freedom and creativity of a bullet journal! I've been following so many people who do absolutely beautiful spreads in their journal, and they've definitely been the inspiration behind my desire to try it out. I put together a little video showing you the pages I did for my 2018 setup!

lunar journal

Now that I'm not in school anymore, I've been finding myself itching to have something to study and research more than ever before. I love learning, and I've always lived by the idea that you need to have something in this life to be interested in or curious about. Lately, I've been diving deep into learning about the lunar cycle and how the different phases of the moon can affect what we do and how we feel- and that by aligning ourselves with the moon cycle, we can live healthier, happier lives. It has been so interesting, and so very eye-opening. As I get deeper into this research, I would love to share everything I'm learning with all of you! <3

Travel Diary How-to

I've recently been updating my travel diary with pictures and writings of my summer spent living in Yellowstone, and I thought it would be fun to show you guys how you can start your own travel diary! In my video I also show you how to put together a tiny travel craft kit that you can bring along with your diary. There's something so nice about having a physical book to flip through when I want to relive old memories. I hope you give this a try!

One of my favorite ways to spend the morning is making a big cup of coffee and working in my art journal. I broke in a new art journal recently and started it off with a floral April spread. I included all of my favorite things (flowers, blush pink, pretty words) because this is an especially happy month for me as an Aries!

The most important thing to remember when creating your vision board is that everything on should evoke a feeling of joy, not lack. I was browsing Target the other day and saw these wooden discs in the craft section and thought they would be perfect for making ornaments or gift tags for Christmas! I painted mine with mountain scenes, but there are so many possibilities for decorating them! I think these would be so cute as a little stocking stuffer, adorning a present, or just to hang in your Christmas tree!
