Tomorrow (well, more like in a few hours since it is now midnight) I am moving out of my parents house and into a dorm on my college campus. I have spent the last few days packing away my life and I have learned one thing: do not leave packing to the last minute. Nevertheless, I finished packing everything without having a mental breakdown (thanks to my mom for guiding me through everything).
Are you wondering how the picture of those delicious milkshakes are relevant? My two best friends and I had our last night out a few days ago. Bittersweet is the perfect word to describe it. We had so much fun, but saying goodbye was hard.
Allison, Loli, and I; our last adventure... for now! |
I'm trying not to be too sad about leaving, because I have so many things to look forward to. I am super excited to start college and meet new people and go on new adventures. And of course you will get to hear all about that.
And do not fret! Stellaire is not going anywhere! :) Even college cannot stop me from blogging.
Have a wonderful weekend everyone! ♥
Good luck on moving into college!
ReplyDeleteYou're lucky enough to have two amazing friends! I'm sure you'll all stay in contact and have many stories to tell
Thank you so much! ♥ Yeah, I would rather have great friends that are hard to say goodbye to than no friends. ;)
DeleteI will be doing the same thing next week...I really do need to get packing!
ReplyDeleteGood luck with everything! And I hope packing is easier for you than it was for me! ;)
DeleteGood luck! I am sure you will be great! I am moving out on Thursday so if you have any tips, I would love to hear them!
ReplyDeleteThank you very much! ♥ Good luck with moving out! I want to try to get a blog post about everything up soon, but I do have one tip for you that has to do with packing. Try to pack everything into boxes and bags and not have a lot of loose items. Most of my stuff was packed away, but the loose things I did have were a pain to carry all up to my room. I know it may be different at your school, but I think overall this would be helpful. I hope you have a great move in day/first day of college!! ♥
DeleteJordan - sending you days of endless magic in your new abode. xx
ReplyDeleteThank you so much Elizabeth, it really means a lot to me! ♥
DeleteHey Jordan - Reading your entry, I remember my days moving out from home. I think everyone will come in this situation. I have been in it when I was 18. Now I am 25. And it have been a blast to experience all on my own and share with family and friends what I loved the most. I can only say that it will make you a strong and independent young woman. You will learn a lot and will have heaps of fun in your 'new' grown up life. University is something very special. You will meet lots of great, new people who will all help you move forward. The same counts for your friends and family you have in your home. The only thing that I learned about life so far is - it always goes on. Remember to enjoy the journey, never settle, never give up. I wish you lots of luck. Love xoxo Lena
ReplyDeleteThank you Lena so so much, you don't know how much this means to me! I feel so encouraged after reading your comment, I can't thank you enough for all of your wonderful advice. This has absolutely made my day 100x brighter. Lots of love. ♥♥♥
DeleteHello Jordan! So sorry I've been MIA for awhile, busy busy busy with school! Love the photo collage with your friends in the car. But aww, it's finally time for you to move out. It's time for a new adventure! I hope your new place and school has been treating you good! So excited to hear more :)
ReplyDeleteHi Gwen! Don't worry about it, I completely understand. School just started a couple weeks ago for me, and I'm already spending all of my free time doing homework! Thank you so much! I'm really loving it now, and soon I will make a post all about my dorm and how things have been going. Good luck with your school, I hope things are going great for you as well! ♥
