recent purchases

So I know matte nail polishes have been a trend for a while, but I haven't tried them out until now. I was recently at Urban Outfitters and saw this beautiful dark blush, matte nail polish and I immediately wanted to try it out. It dried to a slightly darker color than what was in the bottle, but it was still a pretty shade nonetheless. The only complaint I have about it is when I took the nail polish off my nails, it had stained them a yellow-y color. I love the matte look of this polish, but I don't like my stained nails, so I'm not sure if I'll be trying any other UO matte nail polishes.

The beauty section of Urban Outfitters has just been really great lately, and I also bought a few of their face masks. I've only used one so far, and I really liked it! I don't use face masks too often, but it's nice every now and then to pamper myself- I'll light a candle and put on some soft music and just relax. Another store I was at recently was World Market, and they have a huge selection of tea that I love looking at. This rose green tea caught my eye, as I love both green tea and rose flavor. I was not disappointed, this was a very refreshing drink!

On my last trip to Target, I got sidetracked by the pretty craft supplies in the dollar aisle. I picked out a few things that I don't necessarily need, but were too cute to pass up.

And finally, when I was doing grocery shopping earlier in the week these sunflowers were just calling out to me and I had to get them. They're currently in a vase on my desk and they make me happy every time I see them, so they were definitely a worthwhile purchase.
