diy gourmet salt gift
Now that Thanksgiving is over and Christmas is upon us, it's time to start making Christmas gifts! I've had some projects planned for a while, so I'm excited to finally start working on them. Today I have a DIY for a little set of gourmet salts! I've been seeing these in the stores but I thought it would be so fun to make it rather then buy it, and I love how it turned out! Keep reading to find out how I did it.
I found the glass containers at Hobby Lobby, but you can also find similar ones at other craft stores or home-good stores. I picked up the salt from the bulk section at Whole Foods, they had several flavored and un-flavored salts to choose from!
For one of the salts, I decided to flavor it myself. I combined an Herbes de Provence blend with grey sea salt. You can also look up other recipes for flavored salts and make your own!
I printed out some labels onto kraft paper and used washi tape to attach them to the jars.
There are so many cute ways you package this little gift, get creative with it! I found these paper bags from Target and the embellishments from my craft collection. I think the trio of salts would also look great in a small box with tissue paper!
I hope you enjoyed this little DIY! Let me know if you try it out!
