diy mini dreamcatcher

I love dreamcatchers- both for what they symbolize and because they are always so pretty! I found these mini embroidery hoops a long time ago at the craft store, and I've been saving them until I figured out what to do with them. They work perfectly for these dreamcatchers!

You'll need an embroidery hoop, thread, and beads. I painted my hoop white and added glitter to the edges, but you can leave it plain if you want!

It ended up being pretty difficult to photograph exactly how to do this, so instead here's a link to the tutorial I followed! I strung the beads on the thread as I was tying it together. Don't worry if it's not perfect, it will still look great even if it's a bit messy!

I gathered some spare ribbon and string from my craft collection and tied it to the bottom of my dreamcatcher. You could add feathers, lace, or anything else you have!

If you want to hang this on your wall, just tie some string to the top of the embroidery hoop!

I love how this turned out! With the holidays coming up, this would be the perfect thing to make for a small stocking stuffer, or you could even turn it into a Christmas tree ornament! Happy crafting!
