Happy Mother's Day Mom! (and all the other mom's out there!) This morning I made my mom a brie and bacon quiche. It turned out delicous! (Sorry, no picture). I also made lavender shortbread cookies, which are sooooooo good. They are the perfect texture and melt in your mouth as you eat them. They aren't too sweet, and the lavender is just the right amount so it's not totally overpowering.

All mom's deserve flowers on mother's day! Especially today when it was rainy and dreary out, they are the perfect pop of color. 

Later on tonight (after dinner, which my dad is going to make), I am making nutella crepes. I can't wait!
